Have you ever asked yourself:
Today we’re proud to introduce Post Tagging – Your bird’s-eye view to increasing user engagement.
Post Tagging allows you to quickly identify which posts are performing best, find outliers in your post campaign, compare posts that contain links and photos, and provide a macro-level view of your posting strategy.

This feature allows you to search for certain messages in your post. In this example, it’s “sponsor.” You could also use it to compare posts that contain the word “Android” or “Apple.” You could also sort by “?” to compare questions versus statements.

Tags are great to let you compare pictures, posts, and links. We automatically add some basic tags for you. For example, if you link to a website we will automatically add a tag that includes the URL. Other tags we automatically take care of include geo-targeting and the type of post.

You know how to sort posts, but what if you want to add your own custom tags? For example you could use this feature to identify your various campaigns.
Click the “Edit Tags” button.

After you’re in edit mode, you’ll notice that there is now a spot for you to enter a tag. In our sample we’re using “Example Tag”. You could use “Post Campaign #1” or “John’s Idea”.

How do you analyze the performance of multiple posts at once?

This is a great way to quickly compare your posts. You could use this data to see how much traffic you’ve driven to various sites.

We’re so excited about Post Tagging that we’ve created a screencast that shows you how to take advantage of this amazing new feature in under three minutes
